The North of County Overijssel has since 2008 one more wonderful and dreamlike location, when it comes to staying at a historic setting. The Oldruitenborgh Estate, a city Mansion at the edge of the old medieval town of Vollenhove, has a capacity of 20 double rooms with private bathroom and toilet, divided over three historical buildings on the premises.

The Main Building has 11 beautiful and large double guest rooms with a cozy living room; The Oldenhofkamer. Here you can watch TV, read or play a game, working via wireless internet or enjoy a nice glass of wine after an active and recreational day at for instance the Weerribben, de Wieden or at one of the lakes. At the Oldenhofkamer breakfast will also be served in the morning.
