Wedding activities, Intimate or Grand in a stylish and romantic surroundings | | After the formal moments on a wedding day like the official wedding ceremony and / or a consecrating of the wedding by the Church, our perhaps your private Moment of Contemplation, provided at the Estate, (see Moments of Contemplation) the festivities can begin. Some newly wed couples give a preference to an intimate celebration with family and close friends, whilst others like to celebrate exuberantly. Whatever you preference The Oldruitenborgh Estate serves perfectly to organize your whole wedding day and our professional staff is eager and able to assist in making this a wonderful and romantic day. To make a grand and stylish entrance you can drive up the property in our extended Rolls Roys Silver Shadow from 1972. After the official ceremony and or churchly blessing it's time for toasts and to cut the wedding cake. | To have a reception or (afternoon) party in the Ruitenborgh Hall is part of the possibilities. Or a stylish long diner or buffet. Also the more traditional evening gala is still popular. And as a fantastic extension of a daily program, after a nightcap in the Van Echten Room, there is room availability for 40 persons. The communal breakfast the following morning makes a festive conclusion to an hopefully 'unique experience'. | The Orangery at the Estate is a prime location if you choose for a smaller reception for your wedding day. For example a reception for children or just to raise a glass and to cut the cake after the official ceremony in the Main building (Mansion). The terrace provides a lovely view on the Mansion. A great advantage of celebrating your entire wedding day at one location is that it creates a certain kind of tranquility for the couple but also for their guests. Another advantage is that your wedding does not necessarily need to start early, seeing a wedding day is usually planned from the last part of the program to the beginning, which brings you automatically to the best time to receive your guests. | | Sometimes bridal personnel, masters of ceremony and their partners and or the couple themselves arrive a night in advance to Oldruitenborgh to make the last arrangements or raise a glass to toast on a hopefully successful day, in the intimate atmosphere of The Bent House. Also bachelor parties or Henna parties are celebrated at our location. More often the festivities surrounding a wedding day are spread out over two days; in short, all wishes are feasible and luckily many of them are possible at location. Click here for more information
